What we were working with
A clean modern house with a builder-standard concrete walk and foundation shrubs that belonged on a completely different building.
What we built
We poured floating pads with dark cobble between them, added corten planters at the door, and planted sculptural succulents chosen to hold their form year-round. Lighting is fully hidden.
How it turned out
An entry that matches the architecture, with essentially no maintenance calendar.

Materials & methods
- Poured concrete pads
- Corten steel planters
- Sculptural succulents and agaves
- Black basalt cobble
- Path lighting
