The goal
Create a legible route through broad gravel beds while leaving visual space around individual plants.
Design & construction approach
Gravel beds hold spaced planting and containers rather than a continuous mass of foliage.
The finished result
Its pale surface stands out against the mixed-color gravel, while the curve brings movement to the garden layout.
