What we were working with
The yard had usable square footage but nothing holding it together — no destination to sit at, no clear path between the house and the rest of the space, and planting beds that read as leftover edges rather than part of a design.
What we built
We set a natural flagstone patio as the anchor and built a fire pit with a seating area around it so the yard finally had a place to land in the evening. The planting beds were rebuilt with a tropical palette on dedicated drip zones, and a flagstone walkway in the same stone runs through the yard so the patio, beds and house all read as one project instead of three.

How it turned out
The stone, the fire and the planting all speak the same language, and the walkway makes the whole yard feel intentional from the moment you step outside.
