What we were working with
The yard had a partial lake view and the previous planting scheme framed the neighbor's fence instead of the water.
What we built
We rebuilt the patio in flagstone, oriented the seating toward the sightline, and re-planted with taller material on the fence side and low ornamentals in the view corridor.
How it turned out
A patio pointed at the best thing about the property.
