What we were working with
A great ocean sightline blocked by a solid stucco wall and a row of overgrown shrubs at exactly eye level.
What we built
The wall was replaced with a glass panel railing, planting was reset to low ornamental grasses, and the terrace was rebuilt in large-format pavers with a linear fire feature as the only vertical element in the view.
How it turned out
An uninterrupted ocean sightline from every seat on the terrace.

Materials & methods
