What we were working with
Well and district water costs that made the existing overhead irrigation genuinely expensive to run, on a property with a lot of ground to cover.
What we built
We rebuilt the system around a smart controller and pressure-regulated drip, replanted with species that thrive on inland conditions, and kept the intensively watered area tight to the house.
How it turned out
Water use down substantially, with a landscape that looks fuller than what it replaced.
